A cocktail that’s gorgeous shaken. Dangerous when spritzed. Bright citrus, floral lift, and Ambra’s brand-new Pink Limoncello.

The Pink Tank: Cute With Bite — Your New Summer Favourite

Some cocktails are loud. Some are delicate. And then there’s the Pink Tank — a drink that somehow manages to be both. Bright, citrus-forward, beautifully pink, and just a little bit dangerous, it’s the kind of cocktail that goes down almost too easily.

Designed for warm nights, long lunches, and summer playlists humming in the background, the Pink Tank is all about balance: zesty Australian citrus gin, the vibrant pop of Ambra’s new Pink Limoncello, the candied richness of Blood Orange Aperitif, and the floral lift of elderflower. Light, refreshing, and quietly sophisticated — exactly what a modern summer drink should be.

But the best part? With one simple twist, the Pink Tank transforms from a silky shaken cocktail into a prosecco-topped spritz perfect for garden parties or Sunday sessions.

Let’s dive in.

Why This Cocktail Works

The Pink Tank combines four distinct characters — each with its own energy:

  • Ambra Citrus Gin
  • Pink Limoncello
  • Blood Orange Aperitif
  • Ashbolt Elderflower

Together, they create a drink that’s fruity and sessionable.

Pink Tank Recipe

Ingredients

  • 30ml Citrus Gin
  • 20ml Pink Limoncello
  • 10ml Blood Orange Aperitif
  • 15ml Ashbolt Elderflower Concentrate
  • 20ml Lemon Juice
  • Garnish: Lemon Twist

Method

1. Prepare Your Tools

Grab a shaker, a fine mesh strainer, a hawthorn strainer, and a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.

2. Add Your Ingredients

Into your shaker, pour:

  • Citrus Gin
  • Pink Limoncello
  • Blood Orange Aperitif
  • Elderflower Concentrate
  • Lemon juice

3. Shake

Add ice and shake hard for about 10 seconds — until the outside of the shaker frosts over.

4. Strain & Garnish

Double strain into your chilled glass.
Twist a strip of lemon over the top to release the oils, then drop it in.

How to Turn the Pink Tank Into a Spritz

Love the flavour but want something lighter, fizzier, and more social? The Pink Tank becomes an incredible spritz with just one step:

Spritz Twist

Top your finished cocktail with 45ml chilled Prosecco (page 1).

It opens up the aromatics, stretches the citrus, and turns it into a refreshing summer spritz that pairs beautifully with long lunches, seafood, or sunshine.

Sweeter palate? Add a little extra elderflower and reduce the aperitif (page 1).
