Made in Melbourne with espresso, dark chocolate, and earthy botanicals, this organic amaro is the smooth, bittersweet core of July’s Dead Ringer. Think of it as a grown-up coffee liqueur.

The bold and bittersweet soul of July’s Dead Ringer

For July’s Elix-Elite box, we were chasing something moody, dark, and irresistibly rich — a spirit that could anchor a bold flip cocktail without overpowering it. Enter Three Foxes Organic Espresso Amaro, a handcrafted, Melbourne-made liqueur that balances indulgence and depth in all the right ways.

This small-batch amaro blends espresso, dark chocolate, and earthy botanicals to create a quiet but complex sipper. It’s subtly sweet at first, then gently bitter — perfect after dinner, but even better shaken into something bold. We featured it in our Dead Ringer.

It’s made using organic ingredients, with a soft richness that makes it incredibly versatile — whether you’re mixing it into a Negroni, serving it over ice, or pairing it with tonic or cola for something lighter.

Why We Love It

Three Foxes is a small family-owned distillery doing things differently. This Espresso Amaro is bold but beautifully balanced — a far cry from the sugary coffee liqueurs you might be used to. It’s organic, flavour-packed, and made to be sipped or stirred.

We used it in the Dead Ringer to bring roasted depth and spice to the glass — and we hope you love every drop. Whether you're a coffee drinker, an amaro lover, or just curious about new ways to explore flavour, this one's for you.
